In volunteering with DISCO for the past 5 years, weekly I have seen imaginations grow, and poets being born. Partnering with incredible schools and teachers, we allow students the space to create work they are proud of. I have had the honor of fostering this creativity and some incredible poetry has come from this program. I am truly grateful to be part of a process that publishes young creative minds and gives a sense of ownership to students who are deeply proud of their work.
