Let's Support DISCO's Epic Read-a-Thon!
A 10-hour, nonstop, out loud, live-streamed, community reading in support of DISCO's writing programs.
In our Advanced Poetry class, we recently ordered a book of poetry written by students in the All City Writers Corps, a collective of more than 500 student-poets in Birmingham City Schools. We were amazed and inspired by the students' poems, and now we want to do what we can to ensure that more students are able to participate in the All City Writers Corps.
Students from our school will be reading live from a classroom during the read-a-thon on December 2nd at 2:10-2:25 pm.
