The Woodlawn Writers Corps
For the past three years, I have been a teacher with the Woodlawn Writers Corps. Every week, I am privileged to meet and teach poetry to a group of twenty-seven students at Putnam Middle School.
I have been privileged to work with this same class of students for the last two school years, watching them grow and develop into more expressive individuals.
Each day, I will share a poem by one of my eighth graders. Your donation will make it possible for young people to create beauty from the truths of their lives.
